How to find diagnostic device details
As part of troubleshooting your issue, we are likely to ask for your device's MAC address and IP address.
The MAC address is a twelve-digit code of numbers and letters, unique to your device's network hardware. It can also be called the Physical address, or the Wi-Fi address. We use it to trace your device on the network, and examine the infrastructure around you.
The IP address is a number that is assigned to your device by our network in order to send data to and from it - much like your house's postcode. It follows the format X.X.X.X, where X represents a number.
If you need any help with these steps, please feel free to call the ServiceDesk for assistance.
